— Garner High School graduate Greg Milhouse, Jr. has signed his second professional football contract, inking with the Seattle Seahawks.

Milhouse signed with the New York Giants in 2016 as an undrafted free agent. He played with the Giants through the preseason, then signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League to finish the season.

After graduating from Garner, Milhouse went to Appalachian State before transferring to Campbell.

Milhouse had been assisting the Garner coaching staff on the field this summer before signing with the Seahawks.

    Mr. Milhouse led Garner to 3 GNRC titles, Eastern Championship in 2012 and East finals in 2011. At Campbell led the Fightin Camels in sacks and fumble recoveries while averaging 5.2 tackles per game , including a season high 11 vs Davidson;
