Games set in Wake County Cup finals

— Games are set for the finals of the Wake County Cup, which will be played on Sept. 23 at Cardinal Gibbons High School.

Three games will be played at Cardinal Gibbons, beginning at 3 p.m. with East Wake and Panther Creek.

At 5 p.m., Knightdale will take on Green Hope.

Then at 7 p.m., in the Wake County Cup championship game, Cardinal Gibbons and Heritage will face off in a game that features two unbeaten teams.

Here is the complete schedule, including the junior varsity games which will be played on the practice field:

Varsity Games (Stadium)

3:00 PM - East Wake vs. Panther Creek

5:00 PM - Knightdale vs. Green Hope

7:00 PM - Heritage vs. Cardinal Gibbons

Junior Varsity Games (Upper Field)

2:00 PM - Cardinal Gibbons Gold vs. Knightdale

4:00 PM - Panther Creek vs. Heritage

6:00 PM - Green Hope vs. Cardinal Gibbons Green
