Game times set for lacrosse state championships

— Start times are set for the N.C. High School Athletic Association boys and girls lacrosse state championships this weekend.

The state championships will be held on Friday and Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Complex in Cary.

Cedar Ridge will take on Weddington in the 1A/2A/3A boys lacrosse state championship on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. It will be the only game on Friday night.

Play continues on Saturday with the girls state championship game at 12 p.m. between Myers Park and Cardinal Gibbons.

The 4A boys state championship game will follow one hour after the conclusion of the girls championship game, approximately 3 p.m., according to the NCHSAA.
