The Jaguars have a bye next week, and the Wildcats travel to cross-town rival Chapel Hill.
Carrboro's Torrell Farrer drew first blood on a sweep to the left for 22 yards and a touchdown.
East Chapel Hill quarterback Drew Davis hit Tyler Klimko for with a 24-yard pass to tie it at 7.
Carrboro answered with a long run by Douglass Parrish only to see Davis answer with a quarterback keeper.
The score was tied at 14 before Carrboro pulled away.
