Garner running back Nyheim Miller-Hines opened the scoring for the Trojans as he busted loose for a 53-yard touchdown run. Derrick Mason was able to get behind the Garner secondary in the first half as he hauled in a deep ball and coasted the rest of the way for a 52-yard tally. Mason later made a juggling catch along the sidelines that set up a 1-yard Hinton sneak.
Mason finished with four catches for 109 yards. Hinton was 8-for-16 for 240 yards. Southern Durham’s Mario Johnson also caught a 56-yard touchdown.
