Carrboro stays undefeated with 35-6 win over Vikings

Northern Vance headed to undefeated Carrboro Friday night and Carrboro let them know why they're undefeated.

Carrboro got out to an early lead and kept it the whole game. Jaguar quarterback Alex McVeigh took one in from the 46 for the first touchdown. 

On the ensuing kickoff Northen Vance fumbles the return which sets Carrboro up for another touchdown a few plays later.

McVeigh found DeAndre White for a 28 yard pass and run touchttps://highschoolot-pubtools.cbcnewmedia.com/pubtools2/hdown. The Jaguars went up 14-0. 

Later in the second quarter McVeigh notched another touchdown on a five yard run. The defense held strong all game and the Jaguars took a 35-6 win over Northern Vance.

Northern Vance (1-4, 0-1 Carolina 6) hosts Orange Sept. 23, and Carrboro (5-0, 1-0 Carolina 12) plays at Chapel Hill.
