What did they know and when did they know it? and if they knew it, who was the player...this reeks...suspend the Principal??? for what...Where does the accountability start and end?

Principal has already been suspended.... on Nov. 6 (prior to the seeding!!)

So no one but the Principal is responsible for this mess? and when did the forfeits take effect? afterward??? If the kid was ineligible it was from the moment he donned the uniform...and anyone who had knowledge of this is culpable for not reporting it sooner...

The coach of the team checks grades and adresses in the beginning, The coach passes the info on to the AD. The AD in turn gives the info to the principle. But the last straw falls on the principle to check over the paperwork from coaches and AD's...

Terry Sanford would have certainly been a top eight team in 4A play. How did this get botched up? A senior class losses all their sweat and blood on this infraction.

According to the NCHSAA, the burden of eligibility rests with the principal.

Fine - how did this kid get to TS and was it blatant or an honest mistake...a lot of layers to go through...more than 1 person obviously missed it...and call me a skeptic, but if dfmlythr is correct in the process, how was it missed early on? No one knew? I don't think that the principal would risk her job for the FB team...something smells...or maybe I've just developed a good conspiracy theory here...
