Hoggard completely dominated this game. PS had maybe 4 first downs against the 1st string defense and never crossed the 40. Hoggard lost their big RB in the 1st qrt but the Vikes were able to do what they wanted in the air. At 38-0 they shut it down. Unfortunately PS showed some frustration with some bad late hits. It had a bad feel for a bit but things calmed down. PS is in for a long 4 week stretch. Hoggard faces their 5th undefeated team next week at Topsail.

He's ranked as the best RB in the country, I would think he would. Running attack of SC against the high powered offense of WM. White vs Brown should be a good match-up.

Not blaming anyone, it doesn't matter to me what classifications those schools are. But it is a fact that 4A is weaker without those teams. Not sure why you keep bringing up Scotland, though.

    Tyler,
You are beating your head against a wall here. Dudley and CC could very well be the best 2 teams in 4A this season if they were still 4A. Those 2 teams may be the best 2 teams in the state period.

Listen to Port. 4A is tougher without New Hanover, Dudley, Rose, Conley, Cape Fear and Catholic. Purnell being ranked has nothing to do with those teams leaving, you're right.

Not a threat this year, they were in the title game a few years ago.

I said watered down in terms of rankings, am I wrong? Losing those schools I mentioned to 3A effect the rankings.

New Hanover is 4-0, you forgot them.

Then stop saying watered down because especially on the east side sorry but Rose is not a threat to anyone. Conley can't stop a baby in a stroller. The only drop off is Dudley and Catholic. CF is a very good team but CF caught lightning in a bottle (IMO) on a friday night and then they got humiliated.

Of course you don't have to play all those teams seeing as they are spread out between 4A/4AA. Heritage and WF might also go 4A, as well. Who are the favorites in the 4A West now without Catholic and Dudley? SC can go either East or West. No one knows about Vance, they have the athletes but seem to lack discipline.

New playoff system with Max Preps, realignment and ADM's will make for an interesting year.

Slept like a baby. Getting all the sleep I can before baby #2 arrives in December. I'm OK with the rankings and computer system, and the watered down 4A.

I just turned on some Eminem tunes, very relaxed now.

You all act is if a team has to play all of those teams in most cases in order to get to the ship you play 2 really good teams unless you are a lower seed. This could be a year where you have to beat 3 because of the changes but I can tell you that WF (might go big), Heritage (might go big), 71st, SC and Hoggard are still a problem for anyone. On the west side Dudley and Catholic were really the main stays but I think Dudley is slightly down this year and Catholic might be up. I think Vance, Harding, East Forsyth, Glenn are nothing to sneeze at. Vance should wake up after getting thrashed by West Meck.

you either lost sleep last night or you took some Ambien. Today my friend, you are delirious about the whole Aquafina Factory. Maybe you should call them and asked them why they watered down The North Carolina 4A success

Oh, now we've gone to Scotland; thought we were talking about the watered down 4A, NCHSAA, Eminem, Hurricane Irma, and now Scotland. Phew, I'm trying to keep up.

If you want to argue with the CV data, why not set up an account on their site and ask the questions as I'm sure they'll let you even copy and paste some Eminem lyrics although I'm guessing they may be more Drake fans over there.

Who said they didn't win a title? I said you named a bunch of folks that have never won.

You've gone from mentioning the NCSHAA, Hurricanes, to Eminem?

I got one shot, so I'm going to take it. Eminem also once said...

Your walkin' down a horror corridor
It's almost four in the mornin'
    And you're in a nightmare
    It's horrible
    Right there's the coroner
    Waitin' for you
To turn the corner So he can corner ya Your a goner He's on a ya Out the corner of his cornea He just saw you run All you want is to rest Cause you can't run anymore You're done

You sir are not very smart.( tried to put something else but wouldn't go through) The fact remains that all these computer based prediction models get better as the season goes on because more data is placed in them. Just like everything else. You can take the best game analyst in the world and they can't predict squat until teams are seen a couple of times. And lets be honest what has purnell swett did since 92 that makes you so angry when the computer picks them to lose as bad as they did. That looks like a normal PS score. I didn't even think there were PS fans on these boards your like the albino giraffe that was just seen a couple days ago.

Eminem once said Look If you had, One shot, Or one opportunity, To seize everything you ever wanted In one moment Would you capture Or just let it slip?

I'm taking my one shot here: Scotland has never won a Championship?

Now this is what Eminem said about you
    Yo
His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready
To drop bombs, but he keeps on forgettin' What he wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud He opens his mouth, but the words won't come out He's chokin', how, everybody's jokin' now The clocks run out, times up, over, blaow!

Also, I said 4A, you're mentioning teams that play 4AA. Rose, Dudley, Catholic, Hanover, Conley, Cape Fear, Hillside all played 4A. But my point still remains.

  • Tyler12 Sep 15, 7:18 a.m.
    Sports Legend

Catholic, Dudley, Rose, Hillside, Cape Fear, (only named 5 this time to make it easier for you) have combined for like 8 State Title appearances in the past 7 years, (may be more without looking at the numbers.)

You named a bunch of teams that have never won anything.

But losing that production doesn't water down 4A.

    I probably missed a few.

You didn't answer my question, stud. Is it weaker now that those schools are down to 3A?

My point still stands. You drop the schools that I mentioned down, and that allows other schools to be ranked that which normally wouldn't be.

    Answer it. Is it weaker?

  • RayRay82 Sep 14, 11:36 p.m.

So you threw seven at me. I'll name a few. Wake Forest, Heritage, Mallard Creek, West Forsyth, WM, Page, Scotland, Richmond, Middle Creek, Pinecrest, Harding, Providence, etc does not make up a body of powerhouse?

Oh wait that was the water down list. My bad stud

I'm mad because those teams dropped down to 3A? Who did I fault? Now you're bringing up Hurricanes and the whole world?

Yes or No. 4A is weaker with Dudley, Cape Fear, Catholic, Hillside, Rose, Conley and New Hanover gone. Please answer the question.

Again it is not to my responsibility. It is yours since you're faulting everything, anything and the whole world that is watered down. In fact call Texas and Florida and blame them for allowing those hurricanes to enter their territory
