Sounds good...I'll be back from Bristol (Pa. my home town) on the 11th and I'm not working that night...might be a big mismatch this year though...

I know it is just scrimmage film but I really think East Forsyth may be a bit overrated this year. They are huge up front but they struggled in their scrimmages on offense at WR and QB. Their QB missed very easy throws and threw a couple really bad INTs. Maybe he was just having a bad day?. The defense is ok but like I said will struggle slowing down Pinnix I think. I think the Sanderson passing game can take advantage of the young East secondary too.

I hear you...I think Sanderson will show everyone just how great that offense is this Saturday against East Forsyth.

I know Sanderson will bring a tough hard hitting defense. I'm not buying the offense hype until I see it. I have been saying for 2 years if they get an offense look out

Lets focus on Week 1 first....All I know is after watching film on East Forsyth Sanderson might roll them by 3 TDs. They have nobody on defense that can match Pinnix. Talking to other guys from that area on another site and they said East lost 30 plus seniors last year. They said East is one of the most athletic teams you'll see but they might only start 4 seniors on the entire team this year. All I know is Pinnix is as good as I've seen and the Sanderson Defense is dominant! They will put a lot of pressure on this young East team. With that said they will win the conference this year! Heritage is not even close to Sanderson right now.

I have not watched Heritage 2017 yet but seems they are not impressing folks so far. I would have had them 1 or 2 with idea of folks getting healthy and replacing losses in key areas including their return game. I guess I need to wait and see.

Heritage is a little overrated. Gunnar is top notch and Person is decent but after watching scrimmage I walked away unimpressed..the D-line didn't really do anything spectacular to me. I understand it was a scrimmage but they didn't score

Think Sept 8 at home against Heritage might present some problems if Heritage lives up to its ratings...Several teams in this conf may give them more than they want later in the season...Good luck to them...

Sanderson might just run their regular season table . I'm looking at their foes and I can see it. They may have one best defensive players in the nation, a running back who might set a record or two.The supporting casting of players are better than last years group. Yeah I know I'm talking about Sanderson but it just might be Possible.. Can't believe I just typed this.......

Yeah that makes sense...especially since there are no tracks running through North Wake...Wake county football has been competing fairly well recently...we shall see this year...

We all know North Wake county have the stay on your side of the railroad tracks syndrome. Cary has the same thing.
(home schools) That's why I'm glad South East Raleigh had a jamboree with teams consisting of more than just north Raleigh of the local teams. Yes, they suck up to garner because they did win.

teams can be very vanilla in scrimmage. Sanderson does struggle when the defense is spread out. Where do u see them in rankings then?

Make up your mind. Is there a Cary bias or a North Raleigh bias?

I saw them live for the first time tonight. Offense looked really strong against Rolesville. Pennix did what he does. Passing was efficient and Dunn scrambled for yardage which I'm not used to seeing. Defense shut down Rolesville until the 3rd string came on. Against Cary, they showed some mistakes in the secondary on defense. As the D.C. loudly pointed out to them they might be listening to their hype. I see great potential but even as a fan I don't see a number 3 yet.

Sanderson has to win the big games this season to get the respect. I see they have a big one in East Forsyth next SATURDAY at Cardinal Gibbons. Should be a good one.

I thought Sanderson and Hillside was suppose to scrimage this evening. I saw that Sanderson stadium is under going renovations, and then I saw they will scrimmage at Cary HS. Will Hillside be there also?

Heritage has a talented QB so start there and they also are loaded with guys who will be playing on Saturday

I'm still not ready to put them over Heritage until they beat Heritage.

One more correction....I meant to write Sanderson better beat East this year because they play them next year too only at East. East will be more stacked next season. They are a year away Sanderson's time is now.

Sorry I'm not trying to disrespect East Forsyth. They have a great team and took that crazy stacked Mallard Creek team to OT a couple years ago and should have won....but, like I said on another forum it said they lost 40 seniors and 3 of those guys went Big D1 last year. They have a couple other D-1 guys including a 6'2" 200 pound Safety with offers to Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan, UNC, Ohio State and others but he's only a Junior like the rest of their guys. I hear Sanderson better take them this year because they will be a lot like Sanderson is this year only more talented and with more depth and size. I know where I will be next saturday! Go Spartans

Sanderson is absolutely loaded this year that's why...are they as good as Wake? Probably not but I'm telling you they can play with anyone in the state with this team. Their offensive line is really long especially at the tackle position. Pinnix is a Top 5 RB in the State right now and their QB can throw it good enough to hurt you. Most of his passes will be to wide open WR's because you have to stack the box to stop this running game and when you do the Sanderson WRs are good enough to beat 1on1 coverage. Pinnix might just go for over 2k yards this year and 500 yards receiving. On Defense all everyone wants to talk about is McNeil. Yes he's the Ray Lewis of this defense but the rest of the guys understand the system and fly to the ball.

Sanderson toughest test is East Forsyth in week 1 and I think they will beat them by a couple scores at worst. I'm hearing East lost every starter from last year. After that game they could very well win out.

I'm curious to see how their offense does overall. That will be key for them taking the next step up.

My thought of why they are
Because they are in North Raleigh.
They had a half of a defense last year
