Sorry home sizzle. I'm not on the forum much during the off season. I pop in and out from time to time to see if their is anything interesting. As for a response to your question, i haven't had the time this year to spend checking out my boys. Between work, remodeling my rental properties, and traveling, I have been out of the loop this season. But I'll be getting back into things shortly.

Byron since you know so much. How many have been in weight room? How many were around for first day of spring ball?

Hold your horses home slice! Hillside does exactly what they need to do!

I don't believe any FCS or FBS guys play in this game. Unless a scholarship comes available after the game. All of those guys are attending summer school by time this game starts.

@mraau just know that some of the folks at hillside aren't doing the job they were hired to do.

Players playing college football are normally in summer school. Schools that have signed a player do not want them participating in this game. Look at the rosters.

Pretty positive a hillside player was invited and probably turned it down, a lot of those guys are in school by that time

I really know nothing about the East-West game. So of course I went to the website:

The East-West All-Star Games were founded in 1949 by Coach Bob Jamieson of Grimsley High School and Smith Barrier, the Sports Editor of the Greensboro Daily News, to help finance the North Carolina Coaches Association coaching clinic. The games feature players who have just graduated from high school โ€“ the best from the Eastern half of North Carolina against the best from the West.

    Go E-A-S-T!

I guess they had a meeting and changed that rule then.

Is it mandatory for a hillside player to be there every year?

Why isn't a Hillside person on the East West Roster who dropped the ball.
