GNRC football 2013

with all these coaching changes happening this off season.....Knightdale has to be looked at as the favorites to win conference going in, not only is the coaching staff in tact, they also return the most all conference selections from last year season, along with the OPOY.

They'll be in the mix, but Garner ALWAYS is the favorite going in. Next year will be no different.

To beat Garner you must have a physical defense to make them one dimensional, a balanced offensive attack, control the time of possession to your advantage, put constant pressure on their QB, and win the turnover battle. EASY!!! Or maybe not.

The easy way would be to schedule the game for 7:30 but actually start it at 5pm before they get off the bus!

HC That's how I would pick 'em. Garner and Knightdale should be way ahead of the rest of the field. East Wake can't afford to lose any of the returning players to be picked that high. Clayton will be talented. SER talent level seems to be slipping. WJ and HC can compete with anyone except the top 2.

If I'm not mistaken the conference will have a different look next year...not sure who's dropping out...or who's coming but I think it is 1 to 2 schools...

Not even a conversation until somebody shows they can dethrone Garner, new coach notwithstanding. And btw Capital, you're partially right - the Knightdale Seniors did beat Garner in 10th grade - the Seniors from the Class of 2011 who moved down to play the JV team. :)

Just a note, Rolesville won't have a varsity football team, just junior varsity next season. Varsity will start in 2014.
