Nick, why has there been no news from HSOT about the coaching change at Hunt? I know we didn't finish the job, but we're regular Fab 15 at WRAL, been to the eastern finals 3 years in a row and you'd think a coach with 200+ wins going to a conference rival would deserve mention especially during a period when not much is happening in high school football in the area. Are you guys going back to triangle area exclucsively? Hunt fans show up wherever the Warriors play, the scores are tweeted regularly to #hsotscores and we're active participants, usually respectfully, to your message board. You should've at least retweeted me when I gave you the news of Randy Raper leaving and again when Stevie Hinnant was named new head coach. Thanks to Ken Medlin for retweeting the news, glad to know my area schools have at least 2 friends in the WRAL family with Ken and Tom Suiter.

Lots of mess going on behind the scenes at both schools.

First, can Barbour work out the details with Thurman since Thurman doesnt want the job. Then Morris pulling a little Mark Barnes (who he coached with) to get Cleveland Boosters to sweeten the pot. Now Thurman wants the job...since Wake County board met last night to approve Kolstad, doesnt look like Garner will be official until next board meeting...unless they hire from inside the county.

Clayton...wow...this could get interesting...the reason the post was taken down yesterday is because the Clayton admin got wind of the post about the potential hire. Word is that he was asked to leave Johnston County 15-17 years ago and apparently someone let the cat out of the bag about the reasons he was asked to leave.

Now West Johnston is open...what happens there...Jimmy Williams is on staff and would be a natural selection for promotion. However, he is rumored in the mix for the Clayton job (not the same coach I referred to being asked to leave) so if he get that job who would be interested in West Johnston? You have Cleveland less than 5 miles down the road and enrollment numbers are still very low...hard job to compete
