The GNRC doesn't make their selections based on position or slot them as 1st and 2nd team....each team gets a number of slots based on conference finish.....

a Clayton representer already posted the 6 players from that team that got recognized, and Knightdale already held their awards banquet so I know those kids that were selected.....just wiating on the playoffs to play out to post those names...

If you look back, you can see some of the fans predictions from Garner, Clayton, and Knightdale....waiting on the rest of the conference followers to chime in...

Raevon Smith and Nyheim Hines were arguably the best two backs in the GNRC and didn't get voted all-conference? What's up with that? Also maybe because Hines just transferred in conference and is still a underclass men? But I see no excuse for Smith he led the Trojans in rushing yards and probably led the GNRC!

I agree....but I guess they weren't one of the top 9 players on Garners team...Seems a lil silly to me that they don't pick all conference by position, instead of giving each team a certain number of slots to be filled....

with the way the team is now there are 3 QBS, and i can't even figure out who played what position...they are just ALL CONFERENCE.

Smith should have clearly gotten all-conf selection for his team...as far as the best backs in the conf I'm not sure of that GT, Clayton, KHS all had the best backs in the conf....Smith led the conf in rushing only after the last regular season game and as far as the selection goes the voters are the coaches.

SR/Wr Alex Cowan, has the GPA and Test Scores,, so expect to see him next Yr on Saturdays
SR/FS Trey Cronin
Jr/ DE Gavin Leach, Lead team in total tackles 95, Sacks 11 and TFL's 12. The 6-3 DE has already received interest from Tulsa, UNC Charlotte, Clemson and others
Soph/RB Damontay Rhem. Started as a Frosh and clearly had a better game then Keith Marshall "Millbrook" in a head to head contest his Freshman yr. We will definitely be hearing more from him - Great kid,student, etc... total package
