Clayton Football
How does Clayton stack up against New Hanover?
RE: Clayton Football
There is already a thread on this. I think we match up well.
RE: Clayton Football
Clayton is a good football team
RE: Clayton Football
But New Hanover is better and they will be at home. I respect Clayton, just think NH has too much speed for them.
RE: Clayton Football
My question for the Clayton guys is, if NH slows down and disrupts that wing T, what do you guys have to fall back on? Don't know think that style of offense can be completely stopped/shutdown. What is the answer if what your trying to do is not successful?

good question...If the gaps are covered and the D stays home they can stop it...I haven't seen Clayton as being about to pass the ball...
RE: Clayton Football
I dont see the Wing T being completely shut down. They can and have a passing attack out of it. I am sure that they will adjust as needed. Right now NH has 3 backs with over 1000 yards each to worry about stopping.
RE: Clayton Football
waggle,
Trust me, they watch film... I believe those coaches will have something put together to slow down that 3 headed monster... Now what do you guys have for #2 Trevon Brown?
RE: Clayton Football
@catdaddy, trust me also, Those coaches watches film as well. Either way it will be a great 2nd round match up.

It is also hard to slow down a three headed monster when you dont know what head your going to get. And just when you think you got it by the neck the ball goes flying down field to #5 and then your sitting there scratching yourself wondering what just happened.
RE: Clayton Football
IMO,this game is on the back of Coleman. If he plays like he did against SER, Clayton wins this in a close, grind it out, game...If he plays well, Clayton will have trouble keeping up with the Cats.
