Wakefield has no chance aainst Garner.It's the Wakefield D, or lack of it. Garner's D will make enough stops.Don't think Leesville can beat them, assuming they beat Middle Creek.

Garner will score 40-50 points. Can Wakefield score more? I think the pressure will be on Wakefields offense to keep up. We saw what happened when they got into that kind of a game with Leesville.

Garner 48 Wakefield 28. I think Wakefield will score 14 while the game is being decided and 14 after it is decided. (MC vs LV a toss up, I think MC matches up well)

Wakefield's defense seems to excel against runs up the middle but struggles against outside runs (they show the athleticism that you can't beat them to the edge but they've got to do a better job tackling). When you have inconsistent tackling, you can't expect much against Garner. Not sure how Wakefield's offense will perform (when it is 3rd down and 2 and you opt to throw the ball two times in a row despite having a terrific back, then I think you are putting a bit too much pressure on Connor to perform and that kind of pressure shouldn't be placed on him vs. an elite team such as Garner) but I don't see them pulling this out.

Wakefield's D has improved TREMENDOUSLY from the beginning of the season. They have finally figured it out together, but they still have their weaknesses. I agree that they have difficulty stopping the run on the outside, but if you go up the middle you will get no more than a yard. Wakefield will tear apart Garners DB's, but that's about it...I see Garner going to the Eastern Championship, but they have a tough schedule and they must get through a very talented Wakefield team. I think this game will result within a touchdown and a 2 point conversion. Wakefield can't make PATs... Haha

I hear that Wakefield matches up well with Garners D. Any truth to the fact that Garners pass D is its' weak point? The thing about Wakefields Defense is they are good, but not consistently good. They can shut you down for a few plays, then give up a 40 yard play. Also on the fact about PATs, The Line is not blocking on them!!! Special teams has always beeen a weakness and they need to get their "stuff" together.

Garner gave up 285 yards passing against a mediocre AD offense...they'll have to tighten up against WF or pay the price...they can score the ball...so can Garner, but who wiil set the pace?....should be a barn burner...

How many of the passing yards that AD got was after Garner called off the dogs? Garner did give up one big pass play for a TD in the first half. Im excited about seeing Connor Mitch for the first time ever. Looking forward to this game a great deal.
