I dont think they are surprising anyone.....They have always had the talent at Knightdale now its all come together.

I think Garner wins easy because they can run and pass unlike Southeast who cant run the ball period. Southeast had plenty of chances to beat Knightdale but penalties killed them. Why would a team try to pass on the 1yd line?

Both teams are very similar in my opinion sure GT throws more than Knightdale but both teams are at the top of the area in rushing leaders and rushing offense. Defense will play a big part in this game who can stop who is the question.

Knightdale D is the wild card...Can't see Garner losing this one though...Knightdale hasn't played for a title before and the only good team they played beat them badly with a suspect defense...

who would you have them play...Middle Creek is a good team, Wakefield is a good team who Knightdale lost to by 27 at home...

The schedule is what it is....not disputing who's good or not but most of the defenses have been suspect and the game you speak of Knightdale had no offense but their defense held Mitch to probably his least performance of the year....

Lets be real...Garner hasn't played anybody like Knightdale this year....Middle Creeks a good team... but I don't think anyone would call them physical....I'm looking forward to a great game friday night, hopefully knightdale will pull it out...Comparing teams based on schedule is pointless...Harnett central beat SER...SSS beat Harnett Central...does that mean SSS will beat SER...NO...

And the team that played against and lost to Wakefield their 2nd game of the season IS NOT the same team that hasn't lost since...different QB, different RB rotation...stronger Defense..

And Conner did have his worst game against knightdale...2 scores were by defense and less than 300 yrds. plus a int.

I SO HOPE Garner is taking this game as lightly as their fans are...

Knightdale has come a long way, but Garner has been here every year experiencing the teams that Garner "haven't seen before." And yet, they still run all over everyone in the regular season. And THIS IS the regular season. Garner takes no one lightly, hence their success since 1983. I wish both teams well and no injuries - I just see a lopsided Garner victory. 42-13!
