Did Jordan really quit?
So as I was all the way in New Bern taking a beating, I got great news when I got home, I found out pretty much the entire PAC-6 loss I believe except for East. Now to make me smile even more I was told that Wake Forest Rolesville made Jordan tap out, I mean they actually quit. Their coach LaDuwan decided after the weather delay he was done. I've seen a lot of PAC-6 football but never seen a coach give up. Good message coach. See I told you not to leave the Hornets nest to go back there, we embraced you now youre with a quitter.
Smith and Winston you better see the light and come over before we sting you too.

mannygomes00 - New Bern as good as advertised?...It's a long ride home from New Bern...did that...not fun...
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
Yeah New Bern is a powerhouse.
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
1 game under a new regime and already quitting? Is it too late to bring the old head coach out of retirement?
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
Manny you will soon learn to see that Hillside is not as great of a team that you think.
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
They called the game at half time because of lighting delays. It was a mutual decision between the two teams. Manny you should be worried about the loss that you got from New Bern. Jordan is the most talked about and hated team with a losing record I have ever seen.
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
bullcityfootball - Yeah what is up with Jordan hating? Usually that's reserved for a winning program...people need to give it a rest and let the coaching staff try to get established...I notice nobody said anything about Dudley's win last night...nothing against Southern Durham, but at least people know who they are...I didn't know much about Jordan until Leesville played them last year...now I know more than I care to...
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
Southern Durham wasn't on this message board making state title claims all summer. You want the spotlight? You got it.
RE: Did Jordan really quit?
All I can say is I had 3 sons play football in Durham. During that time frame Northern Durham, Southern Durham, Durham Jordan,Riverside and now Hillside has all had their share of dominance.. Iv'e seen it all.. There was a time not a team in the state could step on the field with Northern, a time when Southern was a top team with 10 D1 recruits, and a time when Jordan Lineman averaged 6'3 290 pounds on both sides of the ball leading their way to conference championships and deep into the playoffs. I guess what I am saying is be humble, because I have yet to see a dynasty

@ durhamnut it was a kid man! All kids say there are going to win the state. nothing wrong with that
