We lost at home to havelock after being up 21-0 in the first quarter last year..crazy game...but thats it over the last 2 seasons.

NB scrimagged yesterday morning against jax, east wake, sw onslow. They scrimmage at Britt Friday night.

Prediction time. Saw both teams last year. New Bern was better offensively. Hillside was better defensively. However, Hillside's defense was better than New Bern's offense. This should be a dogfight. New Bern is home but the Bears won last year on the road. Close game. I feel Hillside may be a little better but I give the nod to New Bern because they are home. New Bern 27 Hillside 21.
