PAC 6's BEST

PAC 6's BEST

I feel it is proper that I ask this question to all of you. From all the teams in the PAC-6 who some of their best players to come through their respective programs (that you can remember), Past & present.

RE: PAC 6's BEST

Southern had so many to come through there. Here are some of the impact players: David Garrard,Chris Gamble, Kevin Atkins, Carl Johnson, D. McDonald, Eli Sessoms, Reese Brothers(Whitman & James), Rio Johnson, Dominique Cutler, Chris Smith, Des Scott(who went HHS), Nick Jones, Travis Savage, Wiggins Brothers (Reese & Korrin now at HHS), TJ Ross, Des Lawrence,K. Everette, Alan Lea, Tony Creecy & AJ Marshall.

RE: PAC 6's BEST

Tough, tough...what is 'Best' based on...

A few names to start with...and this is what just hit's me right away for over the past 10 to 15 years - not all-inclusive in any way.

Riverside - Nate Biggs (one of the most dominant defensive players I've seen in the PAC-6) and Marshall Williams

ECH - Belton (went on to play at WFU)

Hillside - Greg Little (could play every position and could be dominant) and then they've had about 50+ very, very good players. As in, you give a name, I'd agree, they were very good.

Northern Durham - Andre Williams to start with...

Southern Durham - Charles Gamble to start with...

Jordan - Kinney Rucker, TJ Thorpe, JR Rhodes, Brant Daye, again, just to start with...

Wesley Saunders- Riverside

RE: PAC 6's BEST

I thought Chris Gamble went to Dillard High School

Unless theres another chris gamble

RE: PAC 6's BEST

I think you might be thinking of Charles Gamble. Dude was a flat out beast for Southern and helped lead us to a National Ranking back in 04-05

PAC 6's BEST

dbcity -

thanks for the correction. Typing faster than I was thinking. Charles is correct - not Chris.

And as I was driving home from work, turning onto Guess after driving past Riverside I said to myself...What about Saunders? HappyJoe, I'd agree on that front. Offensively, he was incredible.

RE: PAC 6's BEST

Even though I went to Hillside, I can't forget my boy Northern High Grad AJ Davis, Defensive Back who played at NC State and got drafted by the Detroit Lions

RE: PAC 6's BEST

going way back to the old pac 6

Hillside- Freddie Mac-Rb, Theodore Chavis-Rb, Reggie Love-Cb, Antonio King-Qb

RE: PAC 6's BEST

Best as in to come through (past/present). Players that if they didn't attend that program their team wouldn't have been as good or better off (to say the least). So far I agree with all the posts. These are some great players.
