With all of Cleveland's success last season could they compete with Clayton?How long will it take for Corinth Holders to give Clayton a good game?

cleveland will probably crush clayton this year. It will be a while before corinth is considered a contender

You do not know if Cleveland will CRUSH Clayton. I notice that you said probably!!!! Clayton has only scrimaged with Cleveland.

Clayton does not want to play Cleveland and honestly I can't blame them. Cleveland would win by three touchdowns

I really hate to compare common opponents but here goes:

Both teams lost to West Johnston by 5 last year.
Cleveland beat Corinth by a larger margin.
Cleveland beat South Johnston who beat Clayton.

I guess we will have to continue this comparison until Clayton will agree to play Cleveland. I was a life-long Clayton fan until my son started attending Cleveland. To be honest, Clayton would get a lot of the same thing MM dished out while at Harnett Central (lots of points on the other side of the scoreboard). Cleveland by 3 or 4 TDs.

I agree.they could not stop their offense...and Cleveland's defense would completely shutdown the "three yards and a cloud of dust offense" of Clayton. 42-6
