East West All Star Game

How are players selected for the East West All Star Game? Seems like the Triangle area was poorly represented.

The Coaches that are choosen to coach in the East/West allstar game are sent film from HS coaches across the state. The players are then evaluated.

This game needs an overhaul, in my opinion. There's not much interest in it and largely for good reason. For some reason, they insist on playing it in the summer (coach's clinic?). It's too hot, the kids aren't in shape, they haven't played in a long while and it tends to be be an ugly game. On top of that, if the players are going to college, they usually won't be allowed to play. That eliminates most of the best talent. They need to move the game to December and get out of this idea that it has to be played during the week of the coach's clinic.
