A favorite????? Please tell me what they have done to be considered a favorite? Everyone always talks them up and they never meet the expectations. I see more of the same this season.

cantbustem...i can understand your disbelief...as to why they shouldn't be considered a favorite...However 2 years ago the head coach inherited a program that on the field was basically NONEXISTANT...year one was not at all pretty, they were outplayed almost every friday night...while the JV team posted a respectable 8-3 record with a heavy loaded freshman team...then last year even though the won loss column doesn't reflect it Knightdale was rarely outplayed, Garner and SER notwithstanding..,they missed the Playoffs by the flip off a coin, while the JV posted a 9-1 record, while three of their top 5 sophmores started on Varsity...This year Knightdale WILL turn the corner, undeafeated prolly not, 6-8 wins with a slit between Garner and SER is very very likely IMO...Lets go Knights.

Knightdale is much improved and I think a lot of it has to do with the admin backing the coach. I disagree that the program was NONEXISTANT, rather the admin turned its back on the coach. I think they had 3 coaches at one point and was not willing to work with the coach to get additional coaches. Hard to win anywhere like that. Coach S is very good and is bringing the program around, but he would be in rough shape with just 2 other coaches on the staff.

oddball39...to be honest with you, I just moved to NC and Knightdale two years ago, so maybe I was wrong for using the word NONEXISTANT, however all I heard about knightdale was they were a young program maybe 6-8 years old, not quit sure, that rarely if ever won 2-3 ballgames a year, thats why I used the term that I did, if I'm incorrect, my bad...the good news is things look to be getting better....

Clayton always have a chance to have a decent season.The question is will they be able to get over the hump this year.Hope so!

Watch for Heritage to make a move this year. Don't know if they will make the playoffs but they will be much improved.
