RE: East Chapel Hill and Southern should remain in the PAC6
So how exactly did the AD, coaches and administrators at ECH miss the fact that their ADM was reported as 1401 when it was actually 1441? This seems odd. When your ADM is on the border between 3A and 4A and it has a significant affect on everything about your athletic program how could you miss this?

It's always been my understanding that ECH has wanted to be in the 3A ranks for a number of reasons. ADM #s always seem to be easy to get a bit off here and there if you follow the football playoffs each year so perhaps just a simple mistake. But I'd agree that if you know you are borderline, then I would imagine multiple checks would be done to make sure, especially with all of the conference implications that are involved. But - who knows.

bullcity.. They are not ready to play HHS or SHS.. well none of the PAC-6!! It all boils down to they don't want to be associated with the PAC-6.. We are "beneath them"..Well I hope the best comes out of this.. It is a shame that this type of(not going to say it) is still going on.

So is ECH back in the Pac6?
RE: East Chapel Hill and Southern should remain in the PAC6
@DFBFan
The Jordan program has been in decline, and was one of the weaker teams in the PAC6 finishing 2nd to last in 2011. olecoach might have gotten a little ahead of himself by saying the entire PAC6. But there is no doubt that PC will never schedule a Hillside or Southern. No sense in scheduling a team you will probably lose to. I call that scared. Some people call it smart. I mean if you trying to be the best team play the best team. That's what my old coach used to say. Hopefully they someday meet in the playoffs clearly PC will have no choice but to come to the Blunt. Distance from PC to Hillside very similar to distance to Jordan

You may be right about pretty much all that you wrote there. I know that a lot of times ADs will schedule non-conf games based on filling them in multiple sports so I could see that PC would potentially not schedule a HHS or SHS because there isn't as much overlap with many of the other sports.
It will be interesting to see how Jordan moves forward with Coach Briggs retiring and Coach Harrison taking over. Lot of variables are always involved with whether a team/program is able to consistently win or not.

RE: East Chapel Hill and Southern should remain in the PAC6
The conference both schools are coming to is a decent conference and they still will be able to schedule their durham rivals. They are moving to the Carolina 6 which with the exception of C Gibbons all the other schools were once in the pac 6 a long time ago orange, chapel hill, webb, n vance, and s vance. 4 out of the 6 had good squads last season and should be pretty good for the next few years
RE: East Chapel Hill and Southern should remain in the PAC6
I feel that Coach Harrison will do a great job with the talent he has. They will not be on HHS level, but they will win some games.
