East Chapel Hill and Southern should remain in the PAC6
There is a story in the Raleigh N&O about East Chapel Hill staying in 4A because of their current population.

Southern Durham should be allowed to play up since the Durham schools are their natural rivals. The new conference that the NCHSAA placed ECH and SD into is too large anyway.
Originally, I was all for adding Green Hope and Panther Creek the PAC6 but their strong resistance has probably destroyed any goodwill for developing rivalries with the former PAC6 schools.
NCHSAA...do the right thing and keep the old PAC6. PAC6 schools...don't schedule Green Hope and Panther Creek in the future. End of issue.

Amen.. PC is a new school and has developed a large student and fan base. The football program has a large following... This momentum will be all but destroyed at just about every level, fan participation, revenue, rivalries. PC fans go to away games in large numbers. No one is going to travel to PAC 6. You can count on that. Travel Distance is not the issue. Thanks for netting it out rollo...

ticky96..so what is the issue then, if it is not travel?? see that is my problem with ADULTS getting too involved!! Let the kids have fun and we support them on what ever they do. They see adults acting like CLOWNS, they will do the same! If their fans will not travel to the PAC-6 well then they are not TRUE FANS!! That means they are in it for their own selfish reasons.. I mean really GET A LIFE PEOPLE!! PAC-6 is a strong conference. They should want to play BETTER competition. THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS OVER HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS!! if it is about that..

You can tell tricky or ticky whatever he or she is a little slow...What parent wouldn't support or go to a game that their son or daughter is playing in just because they moved to a new conference.WOW... Clearly I'd like tricky to answer why they wouldn't travel to away games, if it's not the distance? Would anybody like to take a guess? IMO I hope ECH and Southern stay...PCH is a good team, but GH are you serious.. We don't need those schools or want them and can't wait to meet them in non-conference. I think JHS has them on the schedule this year and they come to Durham. This should be a game that PAC6 supporters come out for. SO TRICKY, I guess you won't be there...

I will take that back doesn't Green Hope and Panther Creek already play Jordan. So what is the real problem,you afraid to go to Hillside or Southern

you hit it right on the head bullcityfootball, there was a article i read where fans were saying they felt unsafe and harassed when they traveled to roxboro to play person, bottom line the residents feel like they are above the pac 6 and dont want to socialize or mingle with our kind LOL very funny, cant wait till they place PC and Green Hope and this is finalized.

PCH & GH aren't coming to the PAC6.... Allot of people in that community with connections just don't see it... and the fact that ECH might stay in the PAC6

So how exactly did the AD, coaches and administrators at ECH miss the fact that their ADM was reported as 1401 when it was actually 1441? This seems odd. When your ADM is on the border between 3A and 4A and it has a significant affect on everything about your athletic program how could you miss this?

bullcity.. They are not ready to play HHS or SHS.. well none of the PAC-6!! It all boils down to they don't want to be associated with the PAC-6.. We are "beneath them"..Well I hope the best comes out of this.. It is a shame that this type of(not going to say it) is still going on.
