Looking good on a paper roster does not equal looking good when it counts.
RE: Wake Forest Rolesville's O- Line looking good for next year

This going to be a great matchup if everyone stays health.
RE: Wake Forest Rolesville's O- Line looking good for next year
Difference is Heritage returns more starters. WFR only has 1 returning starter on that line.
RE: Wake Forest Rolesville's O- Line looking good for next year
I've been talking with some coaches at Britt and they said that their OL and DL may be the best in school History. Which says alot coming from them. They say they have 7 or 8 potential starters.
LT Kyle Erickson 6'4"275
LG Joseph Legg 6'3" 285
C Jake Love 6' 245 or Nathan Gerke 6'1" 265
RG Josh Brown 6' 315
RT Marshall Barnette 6'3" 260
TE Sean Mac Lain 6'5" 210
The real scary part is they are all underclassmen except for Love and Maclain. They also return their QB who was the offensive player of the year and Jalen Mcdaniel who is a Div 1 Wr.

That britt o-line looks scary lol
RE: Wake Forest Rolesville's O- Line looking good for next year
Alot of coaches could win with that size and ability. So the question is superior talent at Britt or superior coaching? Maybe both? It does look like a scary group.
RE: Wake Forest Rolesville's O- Line looking good for next year
Britt has good talent. They don't have the skill guys they had in the early years of the school becuase of the changing climate of the area around the school. Not to stereotype, but 300,000 dollar homes aren't always great for producing skill guys. But they have had a decent run on linemen and because of their great academics they tend to get military move ins almost every year that helps fill in the holes. Their Jv team was 10-0 last year and only had one tough game and that was against Scotland couny whose jv team finished 9-1. And great coaching and athletes go hand and hand? Great weight rooms help create great athletes? Lots of teams have great athletes and never even play for state championships. It takes great coaching and luck as well. I think Britt has had some of both through the years. But from what I'm hearing Britt may be scary in the East this year.
