it must really be something special about wake county schools for them to recieve so much hate, there is no way anyone outside of wake county can have so much anomosity for teams they never play or think arent good enough, personally i think wake county has a strong foundation for academics and sports and they put out quality products each and every year, great students, great athletes, great schools i guess that would make people mad.

The New Bern being 'unrecognized' posting started early last year...didn't fly then...won't now - they are good and they are known and they are not sneaking up on anyone...good luck in Ohio if that comes through...one of the top teams coming of of the East...

Can anyone tell me if this game is on. I still see Greenville Rose on NB's schedule twice and the only information I can find is the Sun Journals June 12th article on the area teams 2012 season. If the game is on, will there be radio/TV broadcast of the game?
I know that Charlotte area teams scrimmaged South Carolina teams for years and Indy played in an ESPN HS kick off game years ago but if this happens it will be the biggest game and exposure to Down East Football EVER! Go Bears!
Also forgot that Union Pines played @Apple Valley Granite Hills California (9/6/07 W21-14)

As far as everything goes the game is still on. you can check cantons schedule... the only issue is that rose needs a game in that vacated spot. so hopefully everything works out and the bearsa can travel and play a great team and game. i will be there with updates....lol

andrewsdad101604 Thanks! Awesome, we're at Heritage that night and hopefully WWNB 1490AM will broadcast the game so if anyone wants to listen WWNB can be heard through the "Tunein" app. If not, maybe I can find a Canton area radio station that might be. Go Bears!
