Yeah I know SC was good last year but they were all seniors...New Bern had mostly juniors so now they are all seniors. If they see SC again so be it but I think it will be a different outcome this year.

Edenton would be glad to play them talk to the people at New Bern the Edenton coach used to coach at New Bern and would go for a home and home with New Bern and any other teams that willing to play them.

Edenton would be glad to play New Bern they have had a good program for awhile but the Edenton coach use to coach at New Bern plus he would like a home and home talk to the people at New Bern and try to make it happen. Plus coach Mattera is willing to play anybody.

Edenton would love to play Havelock and New Bern. Edenton like New Bern had mostly underclassmen last year and should have beaten Taroboro and Todd Gurly in the third round but missed the winning td by a yard. The defense stopped Gurly all night. No body ran on Edenton the entire season last year not even Grizzle from Currituck who ran for more than 3000yds last season and scored 54tds,he didn't score against the Edenton defense. Gurly scored one td in the fourth quarter. The final score was 28-26.

Wow sounds like they have the components to get very far this upcoming season. I think New Bern wouldnt mind playing them. Best of luck to them though.

AS usual we will contend for the state title.It would be nice if we could play on of those RA_ leeeeeeeeeee or Weak County schools in the reg season .We all know they are afraid

I know its just a scrimmage but the Britt-New Bern scrimmage may tell us alot about who is gonna be the team to beat in the EAST. Though New Bern was small and Jack Britt was big. They scrimmage on August 10th at Jack Britt.
