Olddb the only way that happens is if the aforementioned guy turns it down. Hope he doesn't, my son played for him and I can tell you he is the guy for the job.

Maybe because I am in Durham and not anywhere close to FV/Apex/Garner...I have NO clue what all of the code talk is about?? Are you guys speaking of the old OC that is at West Johnston now? If so..smart move I think by MC and Jimmy Williams just steps right in at West Johnston.

WOW, that would be a big move for both schools. I think both are good fits for both schools.I don't think MC wants to hire a college coach who will leave them high and dry when the next college job comes along.

My son played for the new head coach at MC. He's a great coach. He made sure my son got into college and followed him all the way through. It is a great hire for you and an excellent addition to the school and football program. Y'all are lucky to have him there. Best of luck to you in 2012. It should be a great season!

Not a good hire, not at all! School morale is at an all time low and a lot of people are upset about this. Is it too late for Coach Crocker and Mr. Williams to come back? As a former parent I wish only the best for Middle Creek but I do believe Middle Creek football as we knew it is over.

I also heard that they passed up a homerun in hiring someone very close to that community and someone with strong ties to the faculty.

Stuart...if you know who the new coach will be and think its a bad hire...then just say who it is. Rumor has it the guy is from college, has to be a decent coach right?. So not the old OC that is now at JOCO, so who could it be? People have been saying that they interviewed top 3 last week with it being college guy, JOCO head coach and who knows who #3 was?
