An East Wake High School girls basketball player has made her verbal commitment.
Tianna Knuckles recently committed to UNC-Asheville, according to East Wake head coach Toni Vick.
Last season, Knuckles averaged 13.8 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game. A 3-year starter, Knuckles made the N.C. Basketball Coaches Association All-District 2nd Team last season.
Knuckles was one of the team's leader scorers last season, helping the Warriors to a 21-6 record.
"I am very proud of her and her accomplishments," Vick said. "UNC-Asheville is a great fit for her."
Knuckles will lead the Warriors into the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational this season. The tournament runs Dec. 26-29.
