Holly Springs was blown out Thursday night by Wilson Hunt, 38-7.
Hunt scored the first ten points. Qwenterrus Ballard caught an 81-yard pass from Jacob Page, then Jacob Lee hit a 30-yard field goal to put Hunt up 10-0.
Holly Springs' Luke Wilhelmson broke a seven-yard run in the second quarter to cut the Hunt lead to three-points, but that was as close as the Golden Hawks got.
Hunt scored 28 unanswered points to end the game, and held Holly Springs to less than 120-yards of total offense.
Holly Springs (1-2) will host Middle Creek (2-0) in the conference opener next week. Hunt (3-0) will travel to SouthWest Edgecombe (2-0) next week, continuing it's non-conference season.
