Desmon Lawrence rushed for 112 yards and Alonz Hedgepeth added 89 as Southern Durham pounded Northern Durham 42-13 in a Durham County rivalry game.
Southern jumped up 21-0 in the first quarter and was never challenged in rolling to 9-1 on the season. The Knights dropped to 0-9.
Southern receiver Tony Creecy had four catches for 90 yards in the win. Quarterback Andy Henry led the Knights wiith 203 yards passing, completing 16 fo 26 throws. Creecy also scored on a 12-yard run in teh first quarter and had a 63-yard touchdown reception.
