New LAX conferences finalized by NCHSAA

The N.C. High School Athletic Association has finalized the new conferences for boys and girls lacrosse. The sport will become a sanctioned sport by the NCHSAA this spring.

Not all schools have lacrosse yet, so the conferences are a bit different from the conferences we have for other sports.

At least four versions of the lacrosse conferences were released. Schools and administrators were allowed to submit requests, concerns and revisions to the NCHSAA during the course of time in which the conferences were drafted.

The conferences do not have names yet, but the alignment of the conferences has been set.
