SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — During the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, event officials announced ten players that will be invited to the 2010 game, and Chapel Hill High School junior Robert Crisp was one of them.
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl rosters will be filled throughout the spring and summer. There are currently about 400 nominees, and in the end there will be only 90 players.
The 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl was played on Saturday in San Antonio, Texas. The East defeated the West on Saturday, 30-17.
Crisp was in attendance on Saturday to accept the invitation.
The 6-foot-7, 302-pound offensive tackle is fielding a number of offers from major football programs. According to Rivals.com, Crisp has offers from Boston College, Clemson, East Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, North Carolina, N.C. State and Tennessee.
