The N.C. Shrine Bowl team made two roster changes on Monday.
Jack Britt quarterback Everett Proctor did not pass his physical after arriving from Sunday’s NCHSAA 4-AA state championship game. He has a pulled hamstring. He was replaced by Desmond Lowery of South Point.
Davie County defensive back Perry James developed a staph infection in his hand and had successful surgery Sunday, but will be unavailable to play in Saturday’s game. He was replaced by Jamell Lott from Kannapolis Brown.
The 72nd annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas will be played on Saturday at Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.
