HighSchoolOT.com has confirmed that the ties in the PAC 6 have been broken for the purpose of playoff seeding.
According to Hillside head coach Ray Harrison, Southern Durham will receive the No. 1 seed from the conference, Chapel Hill the No. 2, while Hillside will drop to No. 3.
The three teams were tied at the end of the season for first place with 6-1 records in the conference. All three teams will share the conference championship.
The N.C. High School Athletic Association will released the preliminary playoff brackets by 4 p.m. on Saturday. After all records and seeds are confirmed, the NCHSAA will release the final playoff brackets by 6 p.m. Saturday.
In projections this week, all three teams were sent to the 4-A playoffs, instead of the 4-AA playoffs. It also appears that Chapel Hill may be headed to the west instead of the east.
