Ravenscroft's Lindsay Cowher commits to Wofford

Oct 14, 2008

Ravenscroft senior Lindsay Cowher has decided to play basketball at Wofford College, the Raleigh school announced Tuesday morning.

Lindsay Cowher is the daughter of former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher, who played football at N.C. State.

Lindsay Cowher, a 6-foot-2 forward, averaged 15.9 points and 8.1 rebounds as a junior. She was also a 2008 NCISAA 3-A All-State selection and a 2008 TISAC All-Conference pick. Cowher helped lead the Ravens to the 2008 TISAC Conference championship and the NCISAA 3-A semifinals.

Cowher will sign a National Letter of Intent on Nov. 12, the first day of the early signing period for basketball.
