Clayton posts 5-point win over C.B. Aycock

Aug 30, 2008

The Clayton Comets rushed 44 times for 366-yards on Friday night against C.B. Aycock, and it was enough to get them a five-point victory.

Clayton's passing attack still needs work. Chris Ferguson didn't complete either of his two passing attempts, and those were the only attempts through the air of the game for Clayton.

After falling behind in the first quarter, and trailing 7-6 at the end of the first quarter, Clayton scored 20 combined points in the second and third quarters, adding on an additional seven in the fourth.

With the win, Clayton evens their record at 1-1. The Comets lost to Sanderson last week 25-19.
