Wakefield pulled out a stunning victory over visiting Holly Springs Friday night as Drew Wilkinson threw a 73-yard touchdown pass with 1:39 to play for a 28-21 victory at Wolverine Stadium.
Wilkinson passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another in the win. The Wolverines overcame a 239-yard rushing effort by Holly Springs. Mark Collins rushed for 89 yards and J.J. Graves 84 for the Golden Hawks.
