Green Hope lost quarterback Marcus Varsano just a few weeks ago to a re-injured knee. His injury occurred in a preseason scrimmage at Broughton.
On Friday night against Jordan, Green Hope lost another key offensive player in Jake Trimble.
Trimble went out of the game in the first quarter, suffering an apparent knee injury. In obvious pain as athletic trainers evaluated him, Trimble left the stadium with ice and a brace on his right knee, and using crutches to move.
The 6-foot-3 tight end recorded 70-yards off of receptions in last week's 34-13 loss to Wakefield. Trimble did not record any offensive yards in the game against Jordan.
