WFR's Hartsfield never played sports in middle school

Aug 16, 2008

Each week HighSchoolOT.com will feature one athlete from the Triangle as the Athlete of the Week. This week we feature Wake Forest-Rolesville's three-sport athlete, Terrell Hartsfield.

Name: Terrell Hartsfield
School: Wake Forest-Rolesville
Sport(s): Football, Basketball, Track & Field
Position(s): Linebacker, Wide Receiver
Class: Junior, 2010

Terrell Hartsfield was one of the top players on the Wake Forest-Rolesville defense in 2007, one that allowed barely a touchdown a game. The Cougars were undefeated in the regular season, earning one of the top seeds for the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4-AA State Playoffs. Two weeks after going on the road and defeating the Leesville RoadPride in the regular season finale, and winning the conference title as a result, the Cougars faced Leesville Road again. This time the Pride left the victors but Hartsfield will have plenty more chances to rack up some wins.
