SER's Moore gets offer from Wake Forest

Aug 10, 2008

Southeast Raleigh junior Kendall Moore has received another offer from an in-state school, this time it's Wake Forest. Southeast Raleigh head football coach Daniel Finn confirmed the information for High School OT on Saturday evening.

Moore already reports an offer from N.C. State, and the offer from the Demon Deacons came on Friday.

The 6-foot-1, 225-pound outside linebacker recorded 110 tackles and one interception in 2007 as a sophomore.

When Moore received his first offer from N.C. State in July, he told Rivals.com that he had spoken with North Carolina and Maryland a lot. Former Southeast Raleigh linebacker Demetrius Hartsfield was a member of the Class of 2008, and he became a Terrapin.

Moore's mother attended LSU, and Moore admits that he has grown up an SEC fan. Most of his attention so far has come from the ACC.

Rivals.com lists Moore as having a high interest in Oklahoma and Tennessee, although an offer from those two schools has not yet been received. The recruiting web site indicates a medium interest in Wake Forest and N.C. State, along with a large number of other schools including, among others, UNC, Notre Dame, Penn State and South Carolina.
