Millbrook's Brianna Hinton has verbally committed to play basketball for the Barton College Bulldogs next year.
Hinton has played for the Millbrook varsity team each of the last two years, helping the Wildcats to reach the state championship game her sophomore year and helping the team win the 4A state championship over West Forsyth last season.
"Brianna is the type of player that all championship teams need. She is so selfless to our team, giving up minutes, shots, and being willing to do the "dirty work" like playing defense, diving on the floor for loose balls, and being just as exciting for giving an assist as she is hitting a big shot, said Millbrook head coach Chris East. "Her work ethic is off the charts, and she sets such a great example for others in the program to follow."
Barton, coached by Wendee Saintsing, went 21-9 last season before falling to Wingate in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
