Fans love rankings.
The debate never ends when rankings come out. Who should have been higher? Who is overrated? Who got shortchanged?
Most polls – including those here on HighSchoolOT.com – are subjective to the view of members of the media.
HighSchoolOT.com's James Alverson has created a new poll that is not subjective though. Using a unique computer formula, Alverson has created the HighSchoolOT.com Football Power Rankings for each classification.
The rankings will place N.C. High School Athletic Association teams from first to last in each classification across the state.
After playing with the formula using last season's results, and after collecting six weeks of data from this season, the rankings are ready to be released to the public.
You can view the rankings for each class – 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A.
Each week, the rankings will be updated exclusively on HighSchoolOT.com.
