The storms that jumbled the schedule this week for preseason football scrimmages could again bring rain Saturday to the HighSchoolOT.com Jamboree at Southeast Raleigh High School.
At kickoff, cloud cover kept the temperature in check but created a sticky, sweaty atmosphere with humidity over 80 percent.
The rain chances have reduced as the front settled in over the Triangle. The National Weather Service forecast only about a 60 percent chance for precipitation through the afternoon.
The HighSchoolOT.com Jamboree is the final preseason event before the games start to count next Friday. Twelve teams will compete in the day-long event.
1:00 PM - Enloe vs. Green Hope
2:15 PM - Clayton vs. Athens Drive
3:30 PM - Garner vs. Southern Durham
4:45 PM - Knightdale vs. Middle Creek
6:00 PM - Millbrook vs. Panther Creek
7:15 PM - Southeast Raleigh vs. Wakefield
Games will be officiated with normal high school football rules. Time and score will be kept, and teams will have three downs to get a first down. On fourth down the team can punt the ball away, kick a field goal, or attempt to get a first down. Kicking plays will not be live plays. A running score will be kept throughout the day with East vs. West. Teams in the East will be considered the home team.
HighSchoolOT.com will provide complete coverage of the event, including a live radio show on 99.9 FM The Fan ESPN Radio at Noon, followed by live video updates throughout the day on HighSchoolOT.com.
Those who attend the event will be able to purchase concessions, get free stuff from HighSchoolOT.com, and visit other vendors on the main concourse.
