David Robertson was the leading scorer last season for Panther Creek, but this season his points will help Green Hope.
The 6-foot-2 and 175-pound shooting guard has completed the process to enroll Green Hope under the new choice assignment plan adopted by Wake County Public Schools.
According to Green Hope head coach John Green, Robertson's interest from college has picked up. A member of the Class of 2013, Robertson now reports offers from Brown, Gardner-Webb and Radford.
Last season, Robertson averaged 17 points per game for the Catamounts, who completed the season with an 11-13 overall record. The team was controversially left out of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4-A state playoffs after teams with worse records got into the field.
Robertson participated in Dave Telep's Carolina Challenge in March, a one-day basketball camp for the top 80 underclassmen basketball players in North Carolina. He was also an all-conference selection in the Tri-9.
