Jordan's Flowers to play hoops at Wake Tech

Jordan High School's Marvin Flowers will continue his basketball career in college.

The 6-foot-4 and 205-pound forward signed a letter of intent with Wake Tech Community College. At Jordan last season, Flowers averaged 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.1 steals.

He was an all-conference selection in the PAC 6 4-A Conference.

"It felt really good to sign to a program that is very welcoming and still close to home," Flowers said. "Coach [Van] Williams is a very cool and down to earth coach that still expects hard word, which is a task I am ready to complete."
