Hunt High School defensive end and tight end Lewis Neal verbally committed to LSU on Wednesday.
Neal, who previously committed to Ohio State before reopening his recruitment again earlier this spring, was considering a number of offers. He told HighSchoolOT.com on Tuesday that he did not publicly narrow his list before making his decision.
His decision was made during the Wilson Tobs' Independence Day game against the Edenton Steamers on Wednesday.
Both Scout.com and Rivals.com rate Neal a 3-star prospect. He stands at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds.
A member of the Class of 2013, Neal had offers from Clemson, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
