Hunt High School defensive end and tight end Lewis Neal will make his verbal commitment on Wednesday.
Neal, who previously committed to Ohio State before reopening his recruitment again earlier this spring, is considering a number of offers. He told HighSchoolOT.com on Tuesday that he did not publicly narrow his list.
The decision will be made during the Wilson Tobs' Independence Day game against the Edenton Steamers on Wednesday. The first pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Both Scout.com and Rivals.com rate Neal a 3-star prospect. He stands at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds.
A member of the Class of 2013, Neal has offers from Clemson, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
