Southeast Raleigh wide receiver Dante Jones, a member of the Class of 2013, is beginning to see an increase in interest from colleges.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, Jones confirmed he recently picked up his first two offers from Duke and Appalachian State.
According to Rivals.com, Jones runs the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds.
As a junior, Jones posted 310 receiving yards with three touchdowns. He also ran for 135 yards and a touchdown, and threw for 170 yards. As a defensive back, Jones recorded 42 tackles and three interceptions.
Last year, Southeast Raleigh compiled a 9-3 overall record, finishing second in the Greater Neuse River Conference behind state runner-up Garner.
Rivals.com reports Jones also has interest from Charlotte, Clemson, Connecticut, East Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Middle Tennessee State, NC State, North Carolina, Tulsa, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
