Southeast Raleigh quarterback David Washington was named the Greater Neuse River Conference Player of the Year.
The all-conference awards for the conference were released on Monday, two days after Garner fell to Page in the 4-AA state championship, 35-21.
Garner was well-represented in the player of the year awards as well.
Andre Gillispie was named the Defensive Player of the Year, Juwan Moye was the Offensive Player of the Year, and Anthony Tucker was named the Special Teams Player of the Year as a returner.
Southeast Raleigh's Summer Tate was named the Special Teams Player of the Year as a kicker, while Clayton's Denndre Parker was named the Special Teams Player of the Year as a punter.
Garner coach Nelson Smith was named the league's Coach of the Year.
